The pride I have in my work shows in the character and quality of each piece of furniture and art. It gives me so much happiness to know people are enjoying my furniture and art in their lives. Selling the piece is not as important to me as creating the individual piece of furniture. My satisfaction is in the building of art. My goal is to build pieces of "art" that are completely functional and individualized that will find their way into people's homes. Each piece of custom rustic furniture is as unique as you are. My art is the creation of objects of lasting beauty that feed your spirit and move your soul. I like to work closely with my clients so that I understand their unique needs and desires.

Mountain Lion Design specializes in beautiful hand-crafted rustic furniture designed with the individual's taste in mind. Every piece of custom furniture is built by hand and will bring many years of happiness in your home or office.All the unusual woods used at Mountain Lion Design are hand-selected in lumber mills or on long hikes through the beautiful Western North Carolina mountains. Influenced and inspired by nature, my custom woodwork uses strong, one-of-a-kind pieces of various woods including of laurel, oak, holly, poplar, maple, and many more species to create unique pieces to meet your needs.
